Fr. Ricky Manalo, CSP, a member of the Missionary Society of St. Paul (Paulist Fathers) has written articles and books on pastoral ministry, liturgical music and intercultural communication. He is a nationally recognized composer of contemporary Catholic liturgical music.
As we celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi this weekend, join a retreat that will renew our understanding and appreciation of the Eucharist.
In Christian worship, God continually calls us to deepen our relationships with the Triune
God and with one another. These relationships become expressed whenever the church
gathers together to celebrate the Eucharist. We will reflect on the Church’s approach to the Body of Christ as it was understood by the early Christian community and see what implications this may have in our spiritual lives today.
At 2pm, our NPM Chapter joins the Twin Cities ALM in co-sponsoring a forum for composers led by Fr. Manalo. The format for this forum will be announced at a later date.
